Rusty's RX800 Monotube Performance Shock: R-888 (Each)
Rusty’s understands there are a lot of customers out there who want something better than a traditional hydraulic shock absorber, but they don't need the extra fluid capacity and cost of a true remote reservoir. Rusty's brand new RX800 shock absorber was designed and built specifically for these types of enthusiasts. Built in the USA to our exact standards, the RX800 delivers the high performance of a high-pressure monotube gas shock in an affordable package. Available for several popular Jeep models and lift heights, the RX800 provides a nice comfortable ride on the street while providing the extra dampening needed when the going gets rough.
Rusty’s RX800 Shock Absorber features a 14mm chrome-hardened piston shaft for superior rigidity and minimal seal wear. The shaft itself is coated with a unique black chromate that is actually more durable to chrome, while offering better resistance to rust than other shocks. The machined aluminum rod end offers strength and good looks and houses American-made polyurethane bushings. The shock body itself is constructed of 2” diameter seamless DOM tubing for excellent heat-transfer, and the outside of the shock has a durable black diamond powder coated finish. Inside, the massive 1-3/4" diameter piston has progressive valving that is tuned to provide a smooth ride on the road but has the ability to quickly step up the dampening and effectively smooth out the bumps off the pavement.
Combining race technology with advanced manufacturing techniques, Rusty’s RX800 shock absorbers are an unbeatable value, especially when considering that most other shock absorbers on the market are made overseas with inferior materials. Rusty's RX800 shocks are Made in the USA and Trail Tested Tough!
